IT Glue V1.118.125: August 21, 2026
New Features
-
Microsoft Secure Score is a measurement of an organization's security posture, based on how closely its configurations, policies, and user behavior align with Microsoft's security recommendations. With the Microsoft Integration, you can now view your organization's Microsoft Secure Score directly on the Organization dashboard in IT Glue. Bringing this score into IT Glue allows you to view security posture alongside documentation, assets, and other organizational context.
-
The IT Glue Edge extension brings instant, secure access to your IT Glue passwords and assets directly within the browser extension, eliminating the need to switch pages or manually copy credentials. It supports password creation, autofill, auto-creation prompts, and SSO, with all data protected by at-rest and in-transit encryption. The Smart SOP Generator lets you record your screen, keystrokes, and clicks to automatically generate and save SOPs with minimal effort. Quick search functionality is also available across all IT Glue assets, accessible from any webpage with a single keypress. Refer to IT Glue Edge Extension.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue where hovering over the access icon on the List View Documents page displayed an incomplete scrollbar in the email list tooltip. The scrollbar now spans the full height of the tooltip container, ensuring accurate visual display while scrolling through user access emails.
- An issue that occurred when editing long content in Organization Quick Notes and Checklists that required you to scroll back up to access the rich text toolbar has been fixed. The toolbar now remains pinned to the top of the viewport while scrolling, ensuring continuous access to text formatting tools.
- Resolved an issue where passwords embedded in assets displayed duplicate linked asset entries on the Password Show page and within the Password Asset Drawer. Linked assets are now displayed only once, ensuring accurate asset information across views.
- Fixed a bug, where selecting text in Document Edit mode for the first time caused the editor to jump back to the beginning of the text section. Text is now immediately selected and available for formatting on the first attempt.
- Resolved an issue, where missing Microsoft API permissions caused Invalid credentials errors to display during Microsoft 365 integration syncs. The integration now logs a warning and gracefully completes the synchronization process without aborting when optional permissions are absent.
- An issue where exporting domain records from the global list view generated CSV files displaying outdated WHOIS expiration dates instead of the updated expiration dates has been fixed. Domain exports now accurately reflect the latest domain expiration dates.
- Resolved an issue, where publishing IT Glue documents containing PowerShell environment variable expressions or script commands failed or saved blank pages. You can now successfully save and publish documents containing script syntax and command expressions without error.
- Resolved an issue, where background polling requests while editing a document were incorrectly recorded as document views, causing engagement scores to artificially inflate. Automatic polling in edit mode is now excluded from view calculations so engagement metrics accurately reflect user activity.
- An issue where Microsoft License Usage reports appeared outdated has been fixed. IT Glue now correctly sends the current timestamp, ensuring license reports reflect up-to-date reporting dates.
- Resolved an issue, where Entra ID password revision history failed to display attribution details for bulk manual or scheduled automatic rotations. Password version records now accurately indicate the user who initiated the bulk rotation or display Scheduled Password Rotation for automated updates.
- Fixed a bug, where filtering configurations by type under Global > Configurations caused page unresponsiveness or stack overflow errors on accounts with large volumes of assets. The configuration type filter now lazy-loads options dynamically, ensuring smooth page performance and reliable filtering.
